This highly reputable and successful Investments and Financial planning company based in London is currently seeking a professional and well-presented Administrator to work within their small, yet busy Investments team in York.

The role of Trainee Investments Administrator is to work alongside a small team to provide administrative support for all the Investment Directors and Investment Managers within the York office.

Your role of Trainee Investments Administrator will involve:

* Processing new business/accounts and changes to existing business/accounts and maintaining accurate and up to date information

* Working closely with various administration support departments to ensure accurate and timely records are kept for all clients.

* Assisting with the preparation of portfolio clients’ reviews

* Liaising with clients, providers, other third parties and other departments

* Assisting with compiling probate valuations, dealing with associated parties and processing Estate’s wind ups

* Ensuring client fees are settled in a timely manner and monitoring department debtors list

* Maintaining and updating the client database & assisting with department mailshots

* Accurate record keeping and data entry

In an ideal world, investment or financial services administration experience would be fantastic although we will consider great people with good general admin. experience and an interest in this area.

Graduates with no office-based experience will also be considered.

Full training will be given on the in-house client management & document management system but a working knowledge of Google Mail & Google Drive along with excel, word, etc would be ideal.

Whilst not guaranteed to be an ongoing situation, they are currently working part home & part in the office, usually 2 days a week in the office. This would also apply to new starters after the completion of basic training & system familiarisation.

When working in the office no onsite parking is available although there are plenty of places to park within walking distance of the offices and it is also not far from the city centre.

Salary – circa £20k, plus
