An exciting position has arising within our client BASE UK division to work alongside the National Survey Manager and Survey Co-Originator, based in Eastleigh.
This role will give you the opportunity to increase your existing administrative skills or learn new skills within an office environment.
The role of the General Administrator is to support the wider business, providing a range of tasks. This will be an onsite role working as part of team assisting other as workloads and holidays demand.
Acknowledge Receipt of new instructions from clients.
Data Entry to Base Horizon System
Interaction with Surveyors, Clients to meet agreed timescales
Upload survey reports.
Electronic dispatch of survey reports to clients.
Close liaison with Subcontractors and clients via the telephone and email to ensure smooth operation of systems and processes.
Dealing with incoming telephone calls
Building a rapport with our valued clients.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
As a member of the survey team you will be expected to show a high level of application and professionalism at all times. You should have a real hunger for challenges and be interested in the more complex and technically challenging aspects of the role.
Proactively supporting all tasks with the ability to respond positively to the varying customer/client requirements. You should have a confident and outgoing personality, enjoy business relationships and be adaptable to changes in the wider business environment.
HOURS OF WORK
37.5 hours but additional hours may be required as detailed in the employment contract
QUALIFICATION & TRAINING
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) as a minimum
Strong administrative skills Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
In house training provided
Previous experience of working in an Administrative Function within an underwriting environment.
