Job - Administrator

Administrator required for our client based in West Leeds. They are one of the market leaders within the test and measurement equipment industry focusing on calibration, repair, sales, hire and training of test instrumentation. Trading since 2005 the company continues to grow due to an ever expanding portfolio of innovative and high quality test & measurement instruments and its service offerings. The company works in close partnership with world renowned manufacturers as distribution partners and service centre and they are well known and respected within their industry.

Due to continued growth within their Calibration/Repair/Service department they are now looking to expand the team with an Administration. If you are a well organised and hardworking person with a positive attitude that enjoys working within a busy team environment then our client would like to meet you.

Primary Duties of the Administrator:

Booking in instruments and raising job sheets
Liaising with customers over the telephone, by e-mail and face to face
Booking out and boxing up instruments ready for returning
Taking payments from customers or processing purchase orders
Raising purchase orders for parts and labour to external suppliers
Arranging shipment and collections for customers equipment using our couriers
Acting as point of contact for designated larger customers and managing those accounts
Keeping an overview in a busy environment while always providing an excellent service to customers

Requirements:

A good team player with the ability to work in a busy environment
Being able to prioritise and keep on top of workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Customer Services or Key Account Management is advantageous
Good numerical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
A solid level of computer and software literacy is essential. Experience with Sage 50 and/or Microsoft Excel is advantageous but not essential. Full training on the laboratory management software will be provided.
A thorough individual who is efficient and takes pride in their work.
Ideally holds a full UK driving license
