Connect2Kent are looking for a full-time Administration Assistant to work with KCC within in the Children's Allowance Review Team (CART).
CART is a small and friendly team processing allowances for Kent children and Young Persons in Care under Special Guardianship Orders, Child Arrangement Orders, Post Adoption and Staying Together Arrangements. We encounter all manner of administration tasks on a daily basis as well as receiving and making telephone calls to the public and professionals.
Purpose of the Job:
Provide back-office support to ensure that allowances, paid to parents/carers who have adoption, special guardianship, or child arrangement orders, are effectively implemented, and monitored across the County. Act at the main contact point for social workers who are setting up new allowances and initiate/complete the Review process.Experience:
Previous experience of administration work
Customer service experience
Experience of maintaining computerised records
Experience of financial systems and processes
