Job Description

Key Purpose of the Role:

Develop, implement, and oversee an internal communications strategy that aligns with, and supports, company culture and business objectives whilst effectively engaging and informing employees. Support the business on external communications relating to the company. Write, coordinate, and edit communications for our client meeting the needs of multiple audiences using a range of media.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver the company communications strategy and programme.

* In conjunction with HR Director, develop materials for the company Intranet ‘Connect’ in line with the businesspeople strategy.

* Build strong and effective working relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and with key stakeholders to ensure that communications align with, and support, business objectives and culture

* Liaise with individuals and teams within the business and produce high quality written and other communications materials

* Manage the company website, leading on the sourcing, development, and refresh of content as well as innovation in the structure and communications.

* Manage the company’s social media accounts, develop and post dynamic “news” publicising the company.

* Conduct analysis of the website traffic and social media usage, propose necessary improvements.

* Manage and deliver communication development projects.

* Coordinate and edit as appropriate Intranet content

* Work closely with the multi-Media Centre for all communication design and proof preproduction.

* Manage communication and picture library in accordance with GDPR.

* Work with the company Media, PR & Visits Manager to support company-wide PR initiatives.

* Provide advice and guidance on branding and public-facing materials, signage, imagery, and text

* Provide support to the Senior Leadership Team with all communications related matters.

* Communication and PR budget development and cost tracking.

Key Skills

* Demonstrable Experience in Project Management (Essential)

* Good level of previous corporate Communication and background within internal and external communications (Essential)

* Experience in using business social media (Essential)

* Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop

* Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
