We have registered this exciting temporary role, working in a dynamic and forward-thinking industry leader. Starting ASAP, you will be required to come on board and support the team in an administrative capacity.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, the role and responsibilities have not yet been defined so you will need to be comfortable with taking on a variety of administrative tasks and able to hit the ground running.
The role would suit anyone who is tech savvy and has excellent administration skills along with a ‘can do’ attitude.
This role is mostly office based with the opportunity to work from home once you are up and running in the role.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The position will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
This is also a full-time role so you must be immediately available to work a full working week.
Temporary Administrator Responsibilities
As mentioned, the exact duties for the Temporary Administrator are still to be defined, however potential duties include:
Providing vital administration regarding all areas of the department/business using Microsoft Office
Monitoring inboxes, incoming phone calls, meeting room bookings, and external/internal post
Organising physical and/or electric documents, data entry or database upkeep
Preparing and distributing documents, agendas or minutes
Dealing sensitively with confidential information and queries; to ask for the support of senior colleagues when appropriate.
Providing a range of hospitality, such as ensuring the office/meeting rooms are prepared and stocked
Other general administration tasks as required
Temporary Administrator Experience
The ideal candidate for this Temporary Administrator will be happy working in a busy and ever-changing environment. You must be tech-savvy and comfortable using a range of IT software, keen to support the whole team and demonstrate energy and enthusiasm!
Ideally you should have prior exposure in office administration, and have the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
It is essential you are proficient across the whole MS Office suite of packages, comfortable covering a diverse and comprehensive workload, supporting the team with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
