Job Description

A high profile position working for a successful, continuously growing global professional services company to implement strategic procurement into the business across all indirect spend, with a focus towards IT spend. This company is looking for an experienced Group Procurement Manager to save the business more commercially efficient, support key stakeholders on new projects and manage their spend going forward

This company wins numerous employer awards and is recognised as one of the North East's top employer. Reporting into the company's Group Finance Director, you will analyse current expenditure, existing contracts and implement strategies where long term company benefits can be achieved. This gives someone a huge challenge and opportunity to really make instant impact into a multi-national, multi-national company.

Role & responsibilities:

Manage 75% IT spend (all sub-categories) and other indirect categories such as FM, Marketing and Professional Services
Analyse all current spend across the company's services to identify improvement or cost saving opportunities
End-to-end procurement process, sourcing to on-going supplier relationship management
Sole role reporting into the Finance Director, to implement strategy to achieve long term company benefits
Analyse current spend across designated categories and identify potential cost savings
Advise internal stakeholders of internal suppliers
Approach stakeholders who may not have used a procurement approach in the past to sell the benefits of procurement
Implement procurement strategies and policies into the company so it can be run on-goingExperience and requirements:

Extensive procurement experience in IT spend, across all sub-categories
Exposure to other corporate services procurement would be preferable
Worked for a global, blue chip or big corporate organisation
Implemented procurement strategies into a function or company
Experience in managing the full procurement process
Confident in influencing and communicating with all levels of stakeholder
A strong negotiator when working with new or existing suppliers
