Job Title: Junior Marketing Account Manager (Beauty/Food sector)

Location: Ashford (Office based)

Salary: £20k-£23k (Increasing to £25k after 1 year)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

The company we're recruiting for would like to recruit a Graduate or equivalent and someone who would like to "Shape their Career" at this incredible company. We've recruited for this company a lot this year, through expansion, so we'd love the opportunity to discuss the products and team with you in more detail.

Your key responsibilities as a Junior Account Manager would be split between Marketing and Sales support;

Marketing duties;

  • Create new and interesting content for the website in the form of product pages, as well as articles and blogs, ensuring that key words are included and the company are maximising their SEO
  • Keep on top of market and competitor trends and provide regular market updates to the team to brief them on areas of interest/focus
  • Draft social media and LinkedIn posts and articles to generate leads and manage the engagement levels to drive best practise
  • Establish a broad and relevant network of LinkedIn connections to support lead generation activities

Sales support duties;

  • Be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries and qualify them with the use of open and leading fact finding questions to enable the Head of Sales and Marketing (who we recruited, they'll be a brilliant supportive Manager!) to allocate the lead to the relevant member of the team
  • Respond to customer email and telephone queries efficiently, professionally and with accurate information
  • Supporting the Key Account Managers with pricing sheets and quotations for their clients, as well as generating your own quotations for any clients allocated to you
  • Offer general administration support to the team as required
  • Ensure the CRM system is up to date and customer records are complete and include the latest information to maintain transparency across the team
  • Accurately manage a pipeline and forecast in line with sales targets
  • Attend trade shows and client meetings as required, which may involve some international travel
  • Draft customer briefing documents for new projects
  • Attending client meetings and exhibitions when required

Skills and experience required;

  • A Business/Marketing/Sports Science graduate or equivalent
  • Highly organised with a good interest in managing projects and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Detail orientated with ability to ensure accuracy of all work submitted to customers and other departments
