Brand-new opportunity for a Level 7 CIPD Qualified HR Manager to join a fantastic team of people, working in our offices based in Runcorn with excellent pay and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:

Develop, implement and be accountable for delivering HR strategies.
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to increase levels of employee engagement.
Write and develop HR courses to up-skill Line Managers
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Support group management in managing the recruitment process, developing relevant job descriptions, identifying skill requirements and screening initial applicants.
Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation and retention of employees.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout in line with ACAS best practice and UK employment law.
Skills & Experience required:

Proven experience as HR Manager, responsible for all activities throughout the employee life-cycle.
Experience with Disciplinaries, Performance and Probation strategies.
Knowledge and management of all leave types.
HR generalist experience, demonstrating exposure to flexible working applications, right to work, recruitment and SOSR dismissals.
People oriented.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases, desirable however, not essential.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Business.
In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Level 7 CIPD qualified.
