What does the role entail?

Your role will be a real blend of Office Management, Customer Service and Sales where you will take on a number of responsibilities and duties including taking inbound calls, enquiries and emails, where you will then show people around the Marina the various mooring births, storage solutions and camp site plots. You will take bookings, payments and pre payments, sending clients their confirmations and contracts too. You will manage health and safety checking the site regularly and reporting any hazards, repairs or maintenance issues. You will also take radio calls in off incoming boats and assign them berths for parking, check in and check out guests, allocate pitches, ordering stock, parts and materials for the Marina too. This will be a very varied role where a number of other duties, tasks and responsibilities will form part of the role.

What skills will you have?

For this position you will be comfortable with the above list of duties and be a friendly and confident individual with excellent communications skills who can work on their own or as part of a team to. You will have a can do attitude and be competent using IT and will be able to work every other weekend as part of a shift rota. The hours are 9-5, with shorter hours at the weekend.
