Your Role

We have a great opportunity for someone to come and join us as Pricing Manager, owning Verastar’s pricing roadmap and policy across our telecoms, broadband, mobile, water, electricity and gas products. You will help us define our pricing strategy as well as develop a comprehensive understanding of competitors tariffs, monitor the performance of our existing tariffs/policies and work with the business to implement changes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building robust business cases for pricing changes, balancing customer growth with financial return and presenting proposals to the pricing committee
  • Working with the business to implement agreed price changes
  • Owner of pricing policy across all touchpoints in the customer journey
  • Ensuring accuracy in pricing and costing models for all products
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of regulatory change in all markets and its impact on tariffs and pricing policy
  • Work with the wider Commercial, Product and Marketing teams to ensure price, proposition and product link together and support growth objectives
  • Assist sales teams in large tenders
  • Work with our Trading and Settlements Manager to ensure pricing and hedging strategies are aligned

Experience Required

We’re looking for motivated and driven individuals with previous experience in a pricing role within a retail or services focused organisation. Ideally you’ll previously have worked in a commercial role within the utilities (water/gas/electricity) or telecoms (voice/broadband/mobile) sector and/ or experience of B2B recurring services products, but this is not essential.

Skills Required

You will need strong data analysis skills and an ability to create performance reports and present recommendations to Senior Management in a clear and concise manner. You’ll be experienced in prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
