Permanent role to start ASAP paying up to £50,000 per annum.

Your new role
The Customer Care manager will provide inspirational leadership to ensure that all the teams in their business area deliver an exceptional customer experience while meeting challenging performance targets. As a member of the management team they will proactively contribute to delivering the Customer Care Departments wider goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the teams deliver an excellent customer service and operate with a customer centric mindset, taking individual responsibility for following through and owning the experience for the customer.
  • Ensure that the teams deliver against challenging performance targets in and efficient and effective manner, using all relevant information to create successful plans.
  • Ensure that all staff, including the team leaders reporting to them, are appropriately trained, coached, developed, managed and motivated, including through both role modelling appropriate leadership skills and behaviours and providing a motivational and supportive environment.
  • Ensure that all staff are fully informed and engaged with the delivery of the goals for Customer Care and the Company.
  • To keep up to date with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and guidance and that these are built into any relevant processes or operations in a proactive and timely manner.
  • To keep up to date with developments and innovations in process, approach or technologies among wider industry and sector in order to drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:

Essential:

  • Substantial experience of working in a Customer Centric related role with proven success in delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Substantial experience of successfully leading, developing and motivating teams particularly in a changing environment
  • Must have proven track record of championing and delivering performance improvements through the appropriate use of people, process and technology channels in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience of working in a customer operational focused area and an understanding of an operational delivery environment


Desirable:

Familiarity with multichannel approaches and use of digital technologies
