More About the Transport Co-ordinator Role:

You'll work really closely with our Transport Manager and their team to make sure that everything runs like a smooth operation. It's really important that each and every one of our customers receives their appliance on time, every time.

You'll work closely with the routing team and communicate with Self Employed Drivers throughout their day, supporting with any issues that might happen.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing As Our Transport Co-ordinator??????? ?:

You’ll ensure Drivers are legally compliant with Transport legislation and working time directives. Help to build routes and schedules for our trunking vehicles whilst making decisions on what products and loads are allocated to which trailer, and in what order they should be loaded. Administering all last-minute route or pick changes for next day orders.

You’ll build pick-lists and agree time-limits based on the resource and order volume for the night. Be able to communicate with all the Outbases to help keep them informed of any issues and help them with any queries that they might have. Running pick sheets and double-decker trailer product maps and send them to the Outbases ready for transhippers.

A Few Things About You As Our Transport Co-ordinator??????? ???????:

  • PC literate including warehouse software and Microsoft Packages
  • Excel to intermediate or advanced level
  • Experience using in-house warehouse or transport management systems
  • You're good at building lasting, effective relationships with people around you even under pressure and in difficult situations.
  • You think on your feet and have a passion to drive our performance paying careful attention to the service we deliver for our customers.
  • An in-depth understanding of warehouse operations
