On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Delivery Manager for a 6 month contract based remotely from home.
Purpose of the Role:
This role will be a part of the Heritage simplification programme. The team are Migrating current members saving accounts to a new core banking platform. Before the Migration takes place there is a communication piece that must take place, all current members will have to be informed of new features that will be added to their accounts and the feature that will be removed.
As a Delivery Manager you will be responsible for:
The Delivery Manager will work with a team of Business Designers and tester to make sure this communications project is delivered
This role will use appropriate frameworks, tools and techniques to plan and deliver change initiatives typically small in complexity. Adapting approach to manage complexity and drive out safe delivery at pace, while delivering towards the overall Change team* Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and managing the expectations of stakeholders. The role will act as a facilitator, who helps and supports the Change team to perform at their best, follow the scrum process an agile values and practices. This role will have three main focus areas; doing delivery, resourcing delivery and enabling delivering.
What we require from the candidate:
Ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
Knowledge and experience of working with a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodology's
Knowledge and experience of business change and readiness processes.
Clear, concise, and timely reporting with the ability to use Jira, Confluence, and other relevant tools to support this.
Excellent understanding of Jira and Kanban.
Experience of working within multiple delivery and governance frameworks successfully to ensure that relevant standards are adhered to whilst keeping to often tight delivery deadlines.
A passion for learning, embedding, and embracing new ways of working and doing the right things for our members.
Knowledge and experience of working with teams delivering APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and cloud deployments.IR35 Status: This role has been assessed as inside of IR35.
