Salary: Circa £30,000 - £40,000 doe

Location: Hull

OVERVIEW:
A large and hugely successful company in Hull is seeking to recruit a Ledger Manager to oversee a high volume Accounts Payable Department. You must have recent experience within a similar role which included management of staff. This is an amazing opportunity as positions at this level rarely become available. The client will only accept applications from candidates with considerable ledger management experience and in return offers a modern, professional, welcoming environment.

THE ROLE:
Full time, permanent, office based.
Manage the entire Accounts Payable department including processes and staff.
Actively support, encourage and develop a large team of clerks taking responsibility for individual performance.
Be an active member of the senior finance team within a rapid growth company.

THE CANDIDATE:
Possess extensive end to end ledger experience especially management level.
Able to devise and implement subtle changes to working practices to improve department performance and efficiency.
Take responsibility for a team of clerks by providing support, training and development.
You will be dynamic, confident, enthusiastic and have strong leadership qualities.
