What will you be doing?
As a Market Centre Manager, your principal goal is to support the Market Centre Director on their quest to grow the market centre and reach our profit goals. You will do this through working closely with their team of independent business owners, enabling them to become high performers. This will be achieved through coaching and mentoring, regular administrative support, occasional delivery of training sessions and most importantly, be in complete control of all finances, reporting and technical support - you will be the backbone of the business.
You will be the go-to for all new associates, providing them with a robust orientation and ongoing support to ensure they are set for success.
In the short term, technology will also be yours to lead, from providing front line support and escalation for all associates, through to driving value add, impactful and timely social media campaigns. Once you're all up and running they will hire you as an assistant to take this off your plate. However it is important that you know the systems inside out.

Who are they looking for?
This role will suit someone with boundless amounts of initiative, you will previously have been perhaps a Branch Manager, Property Manager or Lettings Manager - you will be the glue that holds everything together - they are constantly rewriting the "how-to" guide for this role, every day will be different. You will also be a great listener, someone who loves to nurture others and see them grow, whilst always remaining calm under pressure. Self-motivation and tenacity are your middle names. Being learning based and coachable are a must.
There is a large proportion of tech-related tasks in this role, they expect that you will have a flawless understanding of Microsoft applications and be competent with all the current social media channels.
Attention to detail from the big picture to the minutia is a prerequisite. You are the quality control, the analyst, the financial accountant and the statistician.
They are also looking for someone with demonstrable leadership skills, who can create a positive culture, while handling potential conflict and some big personalities. Control is key in all aspects of this role - you are the Market Centre Manager.
