Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst

Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: London

My client, a leading insurance provider, have an exciting opportunity available to join their dynamic London based Pricing Team as a Senior Pricing Analyst to contribute to the profitable development and maximise the performance of accounts.

If you are an experienced Pricing Analyst looking to take the next step in your career into a more Senior role, this opportunity could be perfect for you.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Pricing Analyst based in London:

  • Regular monitoring and analysing the performance of company accounts, as required, at the macro, rating factor and agent in order to identify opportunities to optimise profitable growth through necessary pricing changes.
  • Develop and launch new products into specific sections of the motor market.
  • Continually reviewing, developing and recommending new and enhanced management information and pricing concepts.
  • Perform GLM analysis when necessary and use Radar for impact assessment and other analysis
  • Present at regular meetings with senior underwriters and managers
  • Work alongside and support the Pricing Manager
  • Help and guide junior team members

Here are some of the main skills, knowledge and experience required to be successful in the Senior Pricing Analyst role:

  • At least 5 years Pricing experience.
  • Good knowledge of Emblem and Radar is required
  • Expert in using SAS or equivalent database package(s), i.e., R/SQL/Python
  • Experience in applying Machine Learning for problem solving is an advantage
  • A good quantitative degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Actuarial Science would be beneficial
