HR Manager
Location: Office Based – Cringleford, Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £13,000 - £16,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, Part Time
Hours: 16hrs - Mon-Thurs, either 8am – 12pm or 9am -1pm preferred (hours can be discussed)
HR Manager - The Role:
The HR Manager will be responsible for all strategic and operational people related issues across 3 divisions. Within your new role, you'll undertake a variety of HR activities, inclusive of recruitment, staff management and training, compliance, and generalist HR support. You'll be offering day-to-day support for Duty Managers and Heads of Departments. Additionally, you'll be monitoring staff performance, managing discipline and attendance issues, and providing accurate and relevant employee relations advice.
Duties to include (non-exclusive):
• Carrying out full generalist HR activity. This includes monitoring attendance, holiday, absence, first aiders & updating of employee records.
• Manging discipline and capability meetings.
• Developing & monitoring all Health & Safety including employee wellbeing.
• Oversee all employee relation processes, in line with Company policies.
• Maintaining of Policies
• Reviews and 1 to 1 processing from start to finish
• Introduce annual appraisal process
• Maintain GDPR procedures
• Updating & maintaining job descriptions for all employees
• Management of all employment recruitment functions, from on-boarding to exit.
• Accurately submitting payroll amendments to accounts team
• Organising staff events and incentives
• All staff HR issues as they arise
• Carrying out general administrative and compliance duties.
HR Manager - What you'll need to succeed:
• Proven experience in a HR position.
• CIPD qualification would be desirable but not essential.
• An understanding of HR policies, procedures and relevant employment law.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and accuracy.
