Our client is an innovative and international Law Firm currently recruiting a results-oriented and self-motivated Partner Talent Acquisition Manager to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities for Partner Talent Acquisition Manager will be to support and drive forward the recruitment of lateral partners whilst ensuring appropriate partner engagement across the firm. The role holder will have a pivotal role in planning the integration of new lateral partners, making sure that they work with Partner HR to help them ensure the relevant individuals are properly integrated into various parts of the firm.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Working closely with other Partner Talent Acquisition Team to ensure efficient and consistent Partner recruitment processes.
Liaising closely with Heads of Shared Services to determine their strategic growth requirements and initiate one or more hiring processes.
Liaising with colleagues in Partner HR to understand the internal talent pipeline, recognising that there is a commercial preference for internal promotion over lateral hiring where possible.
Working with the sponsors and candidates to produce the candidate’s 3-year business case. Managing input from a wide range of sources, including the candidate, the sponsoring partners, the Partnership Accounts team and the Risk & Compliance team.
Advising sponsor partners on the recruitment process such that they understand the documentation required, timelines for approval, how to build support for their proposal across the partnership and how best an offer should be structured.
Ensuring the candidate understands the partnership structure and profit share model.
Liaising with Sponsors, the CFO and candidates/agents on remuneration proposals and offers.
Working seamlessly with other members of the Partner HR team in order to provide a flexible and collaborative client service to the partners, sharing information, best practice and relevant knowledge to enable the team as a whole to provide the best solution.
Providing guidance and assistance on Global Counsel hires.
The Partner Talent Acquisition Manager will have significant understanding and experience of talent acquisition at partner/senior level ideally within professional services environment. It is essential to possess the ability to transfer strategic and complex issues into practical working solutions, to challenge constructively combined with high levels of resilience and informally lead others and work in a matrixed organisation. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships across the firm especially, with the most senior partners and directors across various operational departments. Along with strong time management with the ability to prioritise work and hit deadlines and a commercial approach to navigate the dynamics of a partnership structure, as well as an appreciation of different national and cultural perspectives. The Partner Talent Acquisition Manager will have excellent written skills with the ability to prepare concise, commercial papers, good presentational skills and a “can do” attitude and hands-on approach.
