The PPC Manager will report into the Marketing Director and will work as part of the Iconic and Value Lights team to improve their paid search capabilities. You will manage the paid search marketing campaigns and be responsible for a multi-million-pound annual budget.
Based in Manchester, a rapidly expanding lighting retail business. Their brands were shortlisted for Digital Innovation of The Year award in 2020's Digital City Awards and have been featured in leading magazines such as Cosmopolitan.
About the role:
You'll be responsible for developing our PPC strategy for our own brands, focusing on ROI and driving new PPC initiatives to optimise campaigns and drive new traffic to site. You'll be given a great deal of responsibility from the get-go, tasked with the optimisation of a key channel for business growth and profitability.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside internal teams to deliver exceptional channel performance against commercial objectives across Iconic Lights & Value Lights.
Reviewing, managing and monitoring deliverables of external agency partners.
Supporting new product, brand and proposition launches via PPC by working in collaboration with internal Marketing and Retail teams.
Using a variety of tools and reporting to set up and manage campaigns on Google and alternative search engines.
Implementing promotional plans via PPC.
Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering both reporting and insight and strategic planning.
Working closely with our channel teams to uncover new opportunities for efficiency, growth and optimisation.
Providing clear reporting, and more importantly actionable insights on account performance to a wide audience group
Seeking new opportunities and initiatives to grow account profitability and channel share, whilst maximising efficiency
We'd Love To Meet Someone With
Hands-on experience managing complex PPC accounts
Experience managing large budgets and delivering proven ROI
Experience with Google Ads and Bing Ads
Experience with Google Analytics
Experience of automated and manual bidding strategies
Understanding of the wider Digital Marketing landscape (Affiliate, SEO, Paid Social, CRO and Programmatic channels)
Demonstrable passion for working in the Retail industry with a commercial mindset.
Proficient use of Excel and strong data analytics skills.
An undergraduate degree in a related field.
