Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager will work as part of the senior management team to support the function that has responsibility for managing strategic partnerships for third-party providers, in which contracts will deliver a high level of service for its customers.

You will be responsible for new initiatives within the Operations team to either simplify ways of working, improve the effectiveness of the Operations team, improve capability of the supply chain and profitability, product and supply chain sustainability to zero waste and carbon neutral footprint, as well as specific problem solving and project management initiatives.

The role is varied and will be involved in strategic supply network sourcing analysis, Core Commercial Cycle improvement, Procurement Spend Analysis, Risk Management, Environmental Sustainability, and also focused problem solving in the supply chain or internal processes / ways of working.

Main Responsibilities:
‒ Develop the future manufacturing and logistics network strategy to meet the requirements of expansion
‒ Work with the Product Directors and Commercial teams to source raw materials
‒ Own product sourcing for the manufacturing network
- Drive dual sourcing, make versus buy and UK versus local regional sourcing
‒ Work with Commercial & Finance teams to forecast volumes for raw material SKUs
- Have a Global view for all goods and services in the region; UK, EU, North America, Asia including transportation costs producing in the UK for export markets
‒ Undertake and complete market analysis to identify local regional suppliers
‒ Run Requests for Quotations (RFQs) with local manufacture to establish service level agreements
‒ Develop a critical path for local regional suppliers to join the network and facilitate the on-boarding, coordinating within the Operations team
‒ Responsibility for developing and owning Business Continuity Plans for product lines
‒ Control the Procurement spend analysis for products in either free issue or toll or full-service agreements
‒ Commercially forecast supply for the commodity
‒ As necessary attend commodity trade fairs to understand the new entrants and possible improved commodity sourcing opportunities, and for buying the commodities directly from the manufacturers
‒ Work with the business to identify improvements and execute the sustainability goals
‒ Deep dive into specific Operations / Supply chain issues

* +99% customer service
* A/B skus: manufacturing leadtime 15-30 days, MOQ 2-4 weeks, make frequency 2 weeks
* 0 price increase on COGs
* Zero waste by 2025
* Carbon neutral supply chain by 2030
* Optimised supply chain network
* Commodity Assessment published every quarter as part of CCC
