Job Description

Our renowned client is recruiting for a Transactional Manager for an exciting permanent position. This role will require you to manage a team in Purchase to Pay, Sales Ledger & Banking & to drive & monitor performance. You will be knowledgeable of various ways of working & digging into systems. This role will suit a Transactional Manager who wants to make a difference, has an eye for developing processes & is looking for a long-term role.

Job

The role of Transactional Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

Managing a team, ensuring that they are supported and developed
Managing a high volume & complex purchase ledger
Managing supplier queries
Ensuring invoices & credit notes are processed
Remittances issued electronically
Supplier account reconciliations
Managing Banking & Cash functions across multiple accounts
Managing customer account reconciliations
Ensuring procedures are applied by the credit controller in the pursuance of outstanding debts
Reporting DSO
Adopting a strong customer service ethos with all departments
Developing, maintaining & documenting appropriate controls & processes across the team
Year end audit - play a supporting role to the Financial Controller in collating audit evidenceYou

As Transactional Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

Demonstrable experience of managing & developing multi skilled teams in a service delivery function including banking & high-volume purchase ledger teams
Understanding of prepayment & accruals, bank reconciliations & transactional banking processes
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
Able to initiate & implement change
Focussed on ensuring policies & procedures are followed
Managing & motivating people through change
Strong communication skills
