Job Description

I am looking to speak with newly qualified & qualified Management Accountants seeking new opportunities in the Kendal area. We are looking for ambitious, innovative, and inquisitive accountants that are looking to develop and gain experience with a business that is infamous for being one of the best employers in the area.

Day to day duties of the role:

  • Responsible for the month end close & timely & accurate reporting of P & L, Balance sheet, Cash & Cost Centre reporting.
  • Provide budget holders with support & direction, challenging numbers & budget overspend/variance as necessary.
  • Build strong, constructive and open working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Produce and manage monthly cash-flow reporting and year-end cash-flow forecast schedule.

Skills & Qualifications required for success

  • Newly qualified or Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of general business principles.
  • Highly analytical with a proven track record in delivering KPIs & SLAs in a fast moving commercial environment.
  • A leader and influencer with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive engagement across functions and levels, building strong relationships.
