Work environment and conditions

Employed in an office setting. However, this facility includes an electronics field service and manufacturing area that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing, when present in the designated area. Remote work is occasionally permissible, but position is mostly in-office.

Key Responsibilities of the role

Specific duties and responsibilities

Oversee inventory reporting and analysis.
Assist with the development and implementation of an approved inventory cycle counting process. Assist in periodic inventory audits as necessary.
Update/maintain accurate inventory standards as required.
Reconcile all general ledger accounts as assigned.
Serve as focal point for site capital expense tracking and reporting.
Maintain fixed assets via recording the purchases and subsequent depreciation activity for all capital assets.
Support all annual and periodic external and internal audits as required.
Prepare monthly commission reports for outside sales contractors.
Prepare assigned recurring billings on strategic customers as needed
Serve as back-up for Controller role as needed.

Key Competencies

Qualifications - Minimum

BA degree in Accounting / Business Management or equivalent
2-3 years professional experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge off all Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Accounting Controls and Standards
JD Edwards software or related ERP experience
Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
Cost accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
ERP systems: 1 year (Preferred)
