*Job Title: Divisional Accountant **Reporting to: Financial Controller **Location: Newtownabbey **Job Role: *To take responsibility for the processes associated with the production and presentation of Divisional monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts and other associated tasks.*Job Duties: * The following reflect the main tasks associated with the position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive* Take responsibility for the preparation of management accounts associated with the ContractingDivision* To liaise with senior manager and directors in respect of accounts preparation, presentation and advocate improvement opportunities and/or initiatives* Lead and develop a small Divisional accounts team* Be part of and contribute to the Senior Accounts Team within Breedon Ireland* Prepare associated budgets and forecasts.* Contribute to alignment and system integration of accounts processes within Ireland / UK* Identify, advocate, and implement procedural and process business improvement opportunities* Contribute to Group initiatives.* Analyse costs and trends and identify efficiency opportunities.* Liaise with statutory auditors.* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to support the main business functions* Contribute to the overall company culture and key values of “Strive to Improve, Make it Happen,Show we Care & Keep it Simple”.*Essential Criteria: ** Minimum 5 Years’ post qualified experience in a similar position* ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral* Confidence to use initiative, to problem solve and prepare concise and relevant reports.* Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment* Previous construction or manufacturing industry experience is advantageous* Be able to visit other office locations within NI and ROI.*Attributes: ** Customer focus commercially focused, providing an effective and efficient service* Teamwork strong team player, forming positive working relationships within the team and with all departments, willing to be flexible and adaptable working across all areas of the department* Continuous improvement a problem solver, wanting to continuously improve ways of working* Personal Development self-starter, highly motivated and able to work on own initiative* Honesty & Integrity committed toworking ethically and honestly, supportive of colleagues* Passion for Excellence delivers high quality work, excellent numerical, analytical, communication and reporting skills* Health, Safety & Environment Committed to safe ways of working and aware of the importance of working safely to avoid risk to self and others*What you can expect from us… ** 33 days’ annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)* Enhanced employer pension contributions* Sharesave scheme* Group Life Assurance* Induction plan and buddy programme* Training and development opportunities* Employee assistance programme* Benefits hubJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £22,184.92-£46,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Free parking* Life insurance* On-site parkingSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:* Newtownabbey: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Education:* Bachelor's (preferred)Experience:* 5 Years’ post qualified: 5 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:* ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified (required)Work Location: One location
