Can you be *Reconomy’s* next *Group Management Accountant*?
Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.
You will produce various company management accounts, then compile the group management accounts reporting pack, in conjunction with companies within the group, so solid experience in this will be essential and being fully qualified would be beneficial (ACCA/CIMA). While we want to ensure that we give you the induction and support to get you up to speed in this role, some experience of the wider responsibilities will be beneficial, these include:
* Preparation of management accounts for all group companies. Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and posting entries.
* Intercompany reconciliation across the group. Ensuring group costs are communicated and recharged/invoiced to other group companies. Agreeing month end SL/PL and ICO current account and loan balances.
* Management of month end group reporting. Loading group reports received into consolidation for review.
* Collating of subsidiary VAT returns for consolidation in the Group VAT return. Onboarding new subsidiaries to the VAT Group. Second line review of VAT returns before submission to HMRC and the management of payments.
* Collating weekly cashflow forecast returns (in the process of being moved to system). Review and reporting of movements.
* Monthly overhead presentation and review with budget holders for Reconomy, liaising with the management accountant. FP&A responsibility for headcount, IT and Marketing budgets.
* Overhead budget preparation and forecast analysis.
* Oversight of the trainee accountant in preparation of reporting pack for a small subsidiary.
* Involvement in the roll out of Group EPM solution – Anaplan, during 2023.
