A day in the life of
As Hotel Accountant you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, and have the responsibility for the Management Accounts and Balance Sheets for several branded hotels in our portfolio. Key to the role is managing the month-end process, balance sheet reconciliations, and provision of timely financial information. From time to time, you will be asked to manage year end, budget and external processes while liaising with hotel teams regularly and occasionally visiting the hotels. Finally, as part of a fast growing business you will be involved in the continuol improvement of our processes and ensuring we are as efficient a possible.
Based in the Glasgow office you will be part of a small (but mighty!) family of passionate people who know that being the best doesnt always mean working around the clock. Thats why, as well as our flexible working policy, we also have regular informal social events and dedicated team nights out throughout the year.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role you will have experience working in a similar environment, preferably within a hotel finance team. You will be up to speed with all the usual IT packages particularly Microsoft Excel.You will thrive working towards a deadline and have a keen eye for detail. Naturally as part of our Glasgow team you will enjoy working collaboratively with others and be able to effectively communicate key information to our hotels and stakeholders.
