*About The Role*

We are on the lookout for a purchase ledger clerk to manage the processing of all self employed driver payment for AO Logistics. You’ll have a continuous drive to process a high volume of hours, deductions and bonuses on a weekly basis, to ensure drivers are paid correctly and on time. You’ll need to apply a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll also be responsible for managing incoming parking charge notices and police notices.
*Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing*
* Responsibility of processing all self employed driver payments. Which consist of inputting from an hours report, including any bonuses and deductions from each depot within a weekly deadline.
* Managing a mailbox for any emails from drivers or depots. Including regular communication over the telephone.
* Processing damage deductions from drivers, for any incurred costs through damage to customer property or 3rd party vehicles and also damage to Expert delivery vehicles.
* Preparing all compensation payments each week on a Tuesday and Friday ready to be paid on the bank.
* Managing the incoming police notices, which need to be logged, sent to the depot and the completed form sent back to the police force.
*A Few Things About You*
* Ideally you’ll have previously worked in a busy purchase ledger, sales ledger or Finance environment.
* You’ll have used financial accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics (AX)
* You’ll be able to prioritise workload and be willing to learn and proactively seek resolutions
* You’ll need to have the confidence to regularly speak to drivers, depots and external customers over the phone.
