Purchase Ledger Assistant
£21,000 - £24,000
Full Time / Permanent

SF Recruitment are working with a brilliant business based in Leicester who are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their business on a full time & permanent basis. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will report to the Purchase Ledger Manager and join an excellent team environment. The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will have 2 or more years experience within Purchase Ledger and have the ability to hit the ground running. The suitable candidate will be a personable individual who will fit into a team environment and be able to liaise with all departments confidently.

Duties of the Purchase Ledger Assistant:
- Process invoices in to the accounting system
- Liaising with other finance departments investigating queries, ensuring authorisation of invoices
- Take responsibilities of creditors for nominated sites
- Produce monthly BACS runs VIA reconciling supplier statements
- Set up and maintain accurate and up to date supplier details & account records.
- Posting cash paid entries of daily bank statements
- Dealing with customer and colleague queries
