Job Title: Management Accountant (12 months Fixed Term Contract)

In this role you will be primarily responsible for the monthly P&L & BS reviews and commentary for an overseas manufacturing business, as well as providing insight and analysis into the monthly management accounts for multiple other entities.
You’ll work alongside the existing finance team (both domestically and internationally) to complete the management accounts each month to tight deadlines, and co-ordinate the activities to ensure accurate and timely results.
Specific additional activities include supporting the business with tasks and projects, including performing detailed balance sheet reviews and clean-up tasks (such as GRNI and AP Support).
What are your responsibilities?
Timely completion of management accounts, commentary and reconciliations
Detailed balance sheet reviews for multiple entities
Significant reduction in aged open items on the balance sheets
Internal and External audit support
What do you need to be successful in this role?
A pro-active mindset and desire to deliver results
CIMA qualified / part-qualified is preferable.
Experience of management accounting, reviews and reconciliations
Knowledge of business processes and transactions
Strong Excel skills and business system understanding
Great to have?
SAP ERP experience is advantageous
A desire to improve processes (eg, lean six sigma training/experience), learn new skills and information, and grow in an expanding role.
