Job Description

We are looking for a Property Accountant to join our growing Finance Team- managing the accounts for 150+ companies across the freehold property portfolio. This area is unique in the UK Finance accounts team and has potential for the right candidate to make a real difference.

You will support with projects that only an over £4bn turnover international retailer could do, so expect to move quickly between demands, get involved in acquisitions and disposals, make commercial recommendations and present to some senior stakeholders.
Producing and reviewing Statutory Accounts, budgets and forecasts
Preparing VAT returns.
Overseeing the migration to a new accounting system
Owning and presenting monthly finance reports to line manager, and senior finance members
Building relationships with departments and third parties to ensure all data is processed correctly
Supporting group & statutory audits for relevant entities
Getting involved with the wider Finance Team and their project work as required
Reconciliation of all relevant entities balance sheets
Qualifications
Part qualified ACCA/CIMA (study support provided) / Newly Qualified.
Minimum 2 year’s experience working in a similar role within finance
Excellent IT system skills, in particular MS Excel
Looking to develop and grow a career with a commercial business
Previous experience producing statutory accounts (Desirable)
