Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be the exclusive recruitment partner to a highly successful business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Commercial Accountant for their business.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main purpose of this role is to support the continued growth of the business by providing commercial analysis, management information and accurate financial reporting.

This isn't a role where you will be stuck behind your desk. You will need to be visible across the business, working closely with the Sales Director and other key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

Commercial
* Produce weekly/monthly management information and commercial performance reviews
* Manage monthly provisions for inclusion in periodic management accounts such as Rebates
* Provide ad-hoc reporting to Senior Management and Group Board members
* Analysis and reporting of revenue, costs and profitability across products, brands and customers
* Evaluation of new products, tenders and business opportunities
* Take ownership of the pipeline process and challenge where necessary
* Review and analyse costs and margins and feedback to Commercial and Operational teams
* Drive process and system improvements including automating tasks
* Support projects across the business
* Manage the demand planning process
* Review and challenge the accuracy of forecasting
* Variance analysis of actuals Vs budget
* Supporting the budgeting process
* Product and pricing data maintenance
* Support the NPD Operational team to implement new products onto SAP
* Resolving pricing queries
* Review and report on pricing expiry dates for Contracts in conjunction with Commercial Finance Manager and Sales Director

Key skills / experience:

* Fully qualified CIMA / ACCA
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relations with stakeholders
* Commercial acumen
* Genuine desire to play a key role in the continued growth of the business
