Communicate has collaborated with a PE Backed business in their search for a Head of Reporting. The firm centers its operations in developing markets and on serving off-grid consumers.

The role will report into the Finance Director and hold responsibility for accounting, statutory reporting and revenue recognition within the business. You will develop your own team in the effort of establishing a high quality process. Ideally, you will have demonstrated clear management capabilities within the reporting function in past roles.

This position is ideal for any individual with a clear drive and presents a distinct opportunity for career progression in a business on a distinct growth path.

Key responsibilities include:

Management and ownership of all accounts and reporting

Representing a point of contact for external investors

Ensuring all deliverables are prepared on time and to the highest standard

Prepare systems to deal with problems presented in the current economic climate

Early involvement in any acquisitions to ensure filing obligations are met

Developing cost saving proposals in line with budgeting goals

Working closely with the in-house tax department

Requirements for the role:

ACA/CIMA Qualifications

Previous experience working within a reporting function, ideally in a management capacity

Experience in a developing businesses

Leadership qualities

Clear communication skills
