Sales and PR role in Independent School.Passionate about sales. Enjoy talking to people and helping promote a brand? Good at thinking out of the box? Then we have the job for you.We are recruiting a highly experienced sales professional. The role will be sales focused and is responsible for pupil recruitment and admissions as well as delivery of the School's marketing strategy. He or she will build strong and lasting relationships with prospective parents and pupils, delivering on objectives to ensure the School operates at full capacity. He or she shall ensure that all enquirers and applicants receive a positive impression of the school. As a prominent public representative of the school, he or she will excel in customer service and be a firm believer in the ethos of the School. He or she will play a key part in the planning, preparation and execution of key admissions-related public events, such as Open Mornings, exhibition events and Taster Days. He or she will provide regular updates to the Senior Management Team on boarding and day applications.The successful candidate must Have an understanding of the principles of sales and marketing Have excellent written and oral communication skills Have exceptional customer service skills Be Confident and professional with a variety of audiences Display leadership over enquiries, visits and admissions Have numeracy skills to deal with statistical date & possess strong analytical skills Be flexible, reliable and well organized Have excellent time management skillsDesirable: Proven knowledge of brand positioning, website and digital media platform management Knowledge of event planning and delivery Education Sector experience Have a proactive approach to work; have the drive to do what is best for the pupils and the schoolCandidates are invited to submit their CVs to the school, and if successful following an initial review, will be required to submit a full school application form, before being shortlisted and invited to an interview.Buckswood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau now the Disclosure and Barring Service.
