Due to their strategic aims a new and high-profile opportunity within their Radioactive services sector has emerged to lead, drive and grow their business opportunities across Sellafield through developing and building strong trusting relationships and partnerships longer term. Sellafield has one of the largest radioactive inventories across the UK and is seen as the most challenging and complex facilities to decommission.  You will be the ambassador for Augean at Sellafield ensuring customer standards are met and quality of service is second to none.RoleThere is a clear demand and opportunity to support and partner in providing compliance led solutions and services across Sellafield for radioactive low level waste. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial for Radioactive services you will be provided autonomy from day one and the responsibility for initiating, building, growing, and maintaining long term customer relationships and partnerships. We are searching for a talented Commercial lead who can take ownership and influence and deliver effective and sustainable growth by providing effective planning and persistence to succeed commercial performance and customer satisfaction. This is a rare and unique opportunity for the right individual who can influence and deliver growth by building upon their knowledge and contacts within Sellafield. Your key accountabilities are going to be around.Identify and secure new, and manage existing projects and ensure you deliver win-win outcomes in terms of providing excellent customer service and value.Identify and manage key Commercial projects from initial enquiry through to project delivery.Manage tender submissions from initial pitching to tender submission to contract execution to hand over for operational delivery.Communicate effectively to keep commercial, technical, operational and finance colleagues abreast of developments.Support and contribute to the Radioactive strategy and work with the operational management team in identifying opportunities to invest in the right operational assets and infrastructure ensuring Augean is effective in delivering Sellafield projects meeting safety, quality and compliant standards.Ensure non-conformances and service failures are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner with timely and appropriate feedback provided to your customer contact and stakeholders.Develop a winning bid framework and presentation set. Develop the commercial framework, negotiate terms, and create risk mitigation strategies for each project ensuring 100% success rate.PersonYou will bring a demonstrable strong track record of success and experience from the Nuclear sector and have an enviable knowledge of the Sellafield operations, structure and commercial frameworks. Common sense and an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude will hold you in good stead. You will be innovative and experienced in problem solving and providing solutions and communicating them. Key experiences, skills and knowledge include;Graduate with Degree gained ideally across a Technical or Science subject.Track record in delivering value and providing excellent customer service in a client facing commercial, technical or strategy role.Knowledge of Sellafield waste consignment/disposal/treatment processes and the people involved.Knowledge of Sellafield Low Level and boundary level waste streams.Knowledge and experience of Nuclear Waste Services frameworks and waste consignment processes.Demonstrable knowledge and industry experience of the radioactive waste sector, legislation and regulatory guidance in the UK.Proven established network with key stakeholders at Sellafield.Augean is a progressive employer recognising the business will prosper by employing and developing the right people and that all individuals are responsible for creating a culture that supports their prosperity.
