The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery from a technology point of view of a series of products that are within one of our key programmes of work. This series of products are critical to the successful day-to-day operation of the ESO Electricity National Control Centre (ENCC), as well as enabling the ability to operate a zero-carbon system.As Programme Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that the customer’s wants/needs are translated into scope and requirements and delivered on time, in full and to quality. This will include leading a team that analyses, designs and plans the deliverability of Epics and Features at the portfolio and individual product level, which will involve employing design thinking practices and transparent prioritisation techniques. Key AccountabilitiesOverall management of the delivery of assigned Epics and Features in line with customer needs/wants.Portfolio level analysis, impact assessments, dependency management, risk and issues of assigned Epics and Features. Financial management of assigned products, including forecasting and variance analysis reporting.Management of cross-functional multidisciplinary teams for assigned products, including resource planning and management.Reporting key performance indicators and taking action to drive continuous improvement for assigned productsEnsuring on-time, in full and to quality delivery across assigned customer-centric productsExperience RequiredDemonstrable experience and a proven track record in product management and/or actively managing products.Experience of successfully leading transformation initiatives and culture and behaviour change, especially in terms of implementing a product model approach.Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management experience. Good technical background (Networks / Salesforce exp preferred)QualificationsEducated to degree level in a relevant discipline or, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceDesirable -relevant industry certification (e.g. Managing Successful Programs, Prince 2)More Information
A competitive salary between 75,000 – 85,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a company car or allowance, a bonus of up to 20% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
