Operations Manager

My client are offering a unique chance to join their established and highly respected training business and to become an integral part of our future path and ongoing success story.

Joining as an Operations Manager you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of running the business. You will be responsible for 30 team members and all day to day operations.

It is essential that you have a background in the Utilities sector and it would be beneficial if this was the Water Utilities arena.

Purpose of the Role
This role forms part of my clients senior management team and is about managing delivery of training, assessment and qualifications ensuring quality in terms of regulatory and customer requirements. Maintaining and creating new customer relationships with the aim of generating new business is also a key part of the role.

Key Areas of Responsibility
*Manage and improve the delivery of training and assessment
*Maintain and improve the quality of training products and their delivery
*Develop relationships and business with new customers
*Maintain relationships with existing customers
*Form part of and contribute senior management team level
*Work with senior management to develop business strategy
*Work to implement agreed strategy successfully
*Work with Quality Management to improve all aspects of delivery
*Deepen relationships with existing clients
*Support business development and marketing activities to ensure customers are presented with the best offer possible
*Recognise our clients training needs and develop suitable solutions
*Widen our product portfolio
*Develop and improve product offering
*Support production and implement quality policies and procedures
*Manage awarding body external verification

*Hold recognised teaching/training qualification
*Hold Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer qualifications
