They work closely with internal stakeholders to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.ResponsibilitiesThis manager role will require complex problem-solving skills and a true entrepreneurial spirit working across time zones. It will help create TikTok's advertising policies across the European and Israel markets (EUI) in addition to developing policy processes and training. Our ideal candidate has experience performing deep analysis into potential risk areas and has the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions with limited information in high-pressure situations.- Develop regional online advertising policy strategies for the EUI markets that align with global policy framework while incorporating local nuance- Partner with cross-functional teams including other Policy leaders, Sales, Product, Risk Control and Legal to develop new advertising policies and enforcement criteria- Collaborate with the global Operations team and other internal stakeholders to improve and maintain feedback loops from front end policy enforcement activities to policy design- Build processes and structures to enable scale & effective operationalisation of ad policies across multiple regions- Provide thought leadership to the EMEA and Global Ad Policy team, evangelizing cross-functional collaboration and owning a number of shared goals with global counterparts- Be responsible for people management including talent development, organisational change, performance management.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required- Leadership and people management skills, proven track record of managing a high-performing team- Previous experience working with international partners across multiple markets and timezones- Experience in online advertising regulations, policies and risk prevention and management- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills- Experience using data to determine process improvements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong understanding of how to successfully manage a regional team within a globalized function.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
