Job Title: Programme ManagerSalary: 85,000 + BenefitsLocation: London Programme manager is needed to work within a rail industry. You will be responsible to deliver programmes, projects, and other initiatives across the whole life cycle within scope, time, and budget.ResponsibilitiesLead the programme, represent it in the company, resolve blockers, have a strong and capable team, set direction, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyEstablish, maintain, and manage programme and project plans, tracking and monitoring progress and issues and taking necessary actions and decisionsManage risks, issues, and change. Initiate corrective action against identified risks and issues to achieve programme objectives. Manage change considering business benefit and impact on costs and timeBeing able to produce and present Business cases, including costs, cost savings and other benefits, to other Governance bodies to gain approval for procurement of services and delivery of associated projectsWith the Senior Responsible Owner and finance representative establish programme and project budgets as part of the production of business cases and manage, track and report on project finances to ensure delivery within authorised budgetsBeing able to set the appropriate governance for the Programme in the line with companies existing governance structure. Responsible for providing reports and papers for that governance and stakeholdersSupport Project Managers in their responsibility of managing project teams to achieve the performance needed to successfully deliver the objectives of the programmeAdhere to the industry project delivery framework standards and procedures and identify and implement improvements to these standards and procedures. This includes the companies Risk Management Process.Experience/Essential Skills Broad vocational experience ideally within Transport, Travel, Retail, Utilities, Professional ServicesExperience working with both Agile and Prince 2 methodologies, qualified in programme management (e.g., Managing successful Programmes)Delivery of programme/projects within the agreed constraints of time, budget and high - level cope. This includes demonstrated experience in prioritising activities and ensuring appropriate actions are regarding managing issues and risks and approving changes.Leading a programme with significant budgets responsibilityAbility to make decisions relating to project priorities, change management, finical and commercial changeExperienced in developing project plans for and assuring delivery of priority projects, including; e2e concept, define, deploy and transition to BAU and to building the optimal p(project delivery structure to meet the project visionIdentify and document risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions. Managing with the appropriate action owner to remediateDemonstrated leadership skills, leading, and getting the best out of project teams and individualsAbility to apply business and governance processes to delivery, and form good working relationships with key areas in organisationExperience in achieving the best value of service through supplier management, new business tenders, end - to - end service reviews of suppliers, supplier governance frameworks and service monitoring with SLAsExcellent communication skills, liaising with all senior executives, stakeholders, industry boards and project team members, through the provision of high quality multi - media reports, presentations, demonstrations and focus groups to influence decisions, make recommendations and provide support on business management.This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join an organisation that is investing and growing and get the opportunity to shape and define your role.
