Job Title: Senior Programme Manager - ATMS
Location(s): Must be willing to travel to Harlow and Glenrothes, with Hybrid working
Raytheon UKs ATMS (Air Traffic Management Systems) Product Line is based primarily in Harlow, Essex with manufacturing in Glenrothes and Livingston, Scotland. It is expected that the Senior Programme Manager would spend a significant proportion of time at either of these locations. If you don't live within easy commutable distance we would cover travel expenses. Our Hybrid working model means that when you don't need to be onsite, we are happy that you work from home.
Summary of Role:
Radars designed in Harlow and manufactured in Scotland help manage over 60% of the worlds Air Traffic, the Product Line lead is responsible for winning and executing all programmes as well as developing the long term strategy for the Product Line. Our current Customers are across the Globe and we have ambitious plans to grow into new markets over our long range plan. This role reports to the Head of Sensors and is an opportunity to form part of long term succession planning.
P&L responsibility for the ATMS Product Line
Leading the BD, Project Management and Operations teams to win and execute new business, this Product Line is growing and we have ambition to double its size over the next 5 years
Working with stakeholders in Raytheon UK and the wider RTX group to pull through new technologies as appropriate
You are likely to be a technologist at heart, but more recently your career has focussed on developing product strategy whilst ensuring that your programmes are executed. This would be a great opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager to take a step up to leading a Product Line, effectively a small business unit.
Experience in delivering complex technical projects for Government type Customers
Experience in developing international Customer relations
Demonstrated ability to manage a multi-functional team, bring cultural change to the team as required
This is a challenging role, a high degree of personal resilience is required
. Experience of the ATMS domain is desirable but non-essential
