What the day will look likeAs a Client Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve; Delivery of business results against financial and operational metrics meeting new, retention, and rollover targets as well as seeking opportunities across other solution lines to increase Aon penetration. Uses standard methodology to scale better outcomes for clients and actively shares within the businessConstant development of Aon IQ – through formal training and knowledge sharing in addition to participation in Client Planning, maintains proven understanding of all Aon services and ensures that the client understands the full value delivered.Delivery of the Aon Client Methodology consistently for each client or where relevant in collaboration with the ECG. Applies our standards flawlessly, including bringing all key collaborators at Aon and the Client together for deep strategy and execution of our commitments and plans.Role models partnership at every level, teamwork, integrity and respect to deliver the best of our firm to our clients. Supports Aon’s Talent agenda to build and grow diverse and broad teamsCelebrates successes and growth of our collective team to recognize their contributions within the businessCommunicates effectively and gives/receives feedback to continually elevate the success of the team. Ability to act on feedback to ensure appropriate remediation plans can delivered.Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group CompanyLine management responsibility for 1-3 Client Managers and/or Client Service AdvisorsTechnical Skills and Knowledge:Industry IQ - deep knowledge and experience of client industry and ability to access Aon resources for content and solution delivery by industry; shown understanding of the themes, trends and issues by industry plus an ability to match those trends and themes to relevant Aon solutions and resourcesRelationship capital: Builds and maintains deep client relationships and uses that capital to understand objectives, influence client thinking, ability to negotiate optimally and build results.Consulting skills: Identifies client needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognises challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcomeFinancial acumen: Understands the client’s financials and strategy and is adept in discussing this with the client and internal teamsEffective communication: Listens and communicates with a client-centric, strategic focus and adapts to communication style of the client; clearly articulates client needs and action items internally; builds consensus within Aon and client organisationTeam management: Accountability for service delivery, ensuring progress for all client workstreams.
