Job DescriptionThe Partner enablement team are committed to the improvement of services, resources, and the overall effectiveness of the Sage partner ecosystem
The SaaS Partner Enablement Manager role will be specifically responsible for creating conditions for our partners to succeed. Working day to day with partners and colleagues, you will
support partners to identify opportunities, win new and retain subscription business, and provide a brilliant customer experience.
You will be accountable for assisting partners to win business during their enablement period and ensuring our partners are adequately supported thereafter.
Working with stakeholders in country and global central teams you will improve commercial conditions and adherence to drive consistent standards that will help us in our journey to
become a great SaaS company. Working at pace you will ensure partners are held to account for their commitment to SaaS growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey accountabilities:
As a SaaS Partner Enablement Manager, you will have responsibility for the sales
enablement of newly recruited partners ensuring they have the capabilities to sell cloud
native products with a key focus on: -
Delivering and ensuring completion of sales onboarding activities
Supporting initial pipeline creation in line with business plan
Ensure partners have the skills, knowledge, and supporting sales processes in
place to confidently win net new business
Ensuring the partner is capable and able, of applying the Sage principles
throughout the sales cycle
Identify areas to improve sales effectiveness within the partner organisation.
Provide visibility to the business where either a positive or negative partner
intervention may be required.
Act as a business growth consultant providing advice and assistance to maximise
initial opportunities to build and accelerate revenue
Analyse current sales performance and metrics, and make recommendations for
increasing sales productivity
Create and embed Sales enablement resources and methodologies to accelerate
Skills, know-how and experience:
Proven sales expert with demonstrable commercial success, preferably within a
Knowledge of Sage products and cloud competitors
Ability to deliver customer focused product demonstrations
Experience building and delivering effective sales enablement programmes
Extensive experience in channel relationship management, particularly with large
Experience of identifying new ideas and opportunities to deliver business benefits.
Ability to build and execute on effective high touch enablement plans spanning
every element of a customer journey
Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence and develop effective
working relationships at various levels
Coaching and consultation skills
Strategic planning and mindset
Knowledge of the Sage Partner ecosystem
