You will receive regular reviews with a focus on your career-development and job satisfaction.What is this role for?Reporting into the Payment Operations Senior Manager, this role leads the Accounts Payable team for one of our group companies.The role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate payments to our suppliers throughout a period of significant change, including the transfer of work into Shared Service Centre, a company merger, and major upgrades to the Purchase to Pay systems.What will you be doing?Leading the transfer of the AP function into the Bradford Shared Service Centre and managing the subsequent day to day operational delivery, including performing against KPIs and SLAs.Delivering an excellent customer experience to our suppliers and internal customers.Ensuring compliance with SOx and audit requirements.Partnering the IT team and the business to successfully deliver a major upgrade to the ERP system.Collaborating with business stakeholders and the Operational Procurement team to identify and implement process efficiencies and governance improvements.Developing your team of ten AP specialists, not only to excel in their existing roles but also to understand their career and ambitions and ensuring they develop the skills they will need for their next step.Working with the automation team to identify and implement automation opportunities.Simplifying and aligning processes across the merged companies.Supporting the team to investigate and resolve complex issues.What skills and experience do I need?We usually look for people with:Experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced, international Purchase to Pay function.Experience running business change projects such as system upgrades and business reorganisations.A proven track record of delivering operational improvements.Confident communicators who can represent the team to senior stakeholders and reach agreement over complex issues.Problem-solvers who get to the heart of the issue and deliver solutions. Attention to detail, excellent self-review skills, and a right-first-time mentality.Ability to work to tight timelines and meet targets without compromising on quality.Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn new skills.Interest in automation technologiesWe also value people with:Experience of working with SAP, Ariba, and JiraFluent GermanStrong Excel and Powerpoint skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary + Bonus25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 moreAccess to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insuranceMatched pension contribution up to 10%Access to our car benefit schemeAn online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with usLiberty Global is an equal opportunity employer.
