Actuarial Manager - 50,000 - 60,000This role would suit someone who is looking to join a new team within Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) which is one of the largest growth areas in the UK insurance market.The role is to support Aviva’s continued success and growth ambitions in this market, we are crafting a new focused actuarial change team to develop and maintain a robust, efficient actuarial reporting capability thereby supporting the ongoing change portfolio for BPA business and ensuring the continuing the accuracy and business understanding of BPA Financial Reporting results.Skills and experience we’re looking for:Ideally a qualified actuaryStrong understanding of financial reporting metrics including IFRS and Solvency II.Understanding of annuity/bulk purchase annuity products beneficialExperience of running actuarial modelsProactive and can work independently with good communication skillsWhat you’ll get for this role:Starting salary between 50,000 – 60,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualificationsGenerous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)Eligibility for annual performance bonusFamily friendly parental and carer’s leave29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional daysUp to 40% discount for Aviva productsBrilliant flexible benefits including electric carsAviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme21 volunteering hours per yearAviva is for everyone:We are inclusive – we want applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.Excited but not sure you tick every box?
