Location: Hybrid role working 2 times a week at our HUB head office in Northampton then remotely from home
What you’ll be doing
As the Supply Chain Manager you will be accountable for a wide range of key deliverables across the end to end supply chain solution. You will be developing a strategy to improve stock flow efficiency and maintain strong service levels and reduce company stock holding to improve the business cost base.
Some accountabilities of the role:
Manage the product supply processes to ensure all orders are placed accurately and timely to drive optimum availability into group warehouses (UK and off-shore) to enable branches to maximise availability.Manage and lead the team to achieve central stock availability, cost to serve and stock levels across the business to ensure departmental targets are met and exceeded.Support the senior supply chain leadership team in achieving business targets.Identify opportunities in the end to end supply chain to improve margin and profit.Manage risks and supply issues, communicating effectively with all stakeholdersCommunicate to all relevant external and internal teams on all availability issues with action taken to resolve any issues that may impact sales or service.Ensure the forecasting, replenishment and master data systems, parameters and all data within it is kept up to date and maintained, with all policies and exception management procedures followed.

The role of Supply Chain Manager will be a key role to ensure the successful growth of our business. You will need to have a wealth of experience in Supply Chain management, including experience of supplier management with both Far East and Domestic Suppliers.
You will be managing a team so a proven track record as a successful leader who can motivate and engage the team is essential.
The ideal candidate will need to be a strategic and creative thinker with a strong customer focus. You will have excellent negotiation skills with experience of managing budgets, along with the ability to communicate and build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
