We currently have a career opportunity for a Contract Lifecycle Management Manager (CLM Manager) in our EY Law practice within EMEIA covering more than sixty countries.

This role includes internal and external client facing responsibilities working alongside the EMEIA CLM Leader. On the internal side, the CLM Manager will be working with the CLM Leader to develop our global CLM road map to enable our lawyers on their client assignments and innovate the way we deliver contracting services to our clients.
On the external side, the CLM Manager will work alongside the CLM Leader with our EY Law member firms to build, operate and win high value CLM engagements in our primary markets with existing clients and target organizations. EY Law serves high-profile, national and multi-national clients across the EMEIA region and the successful candidate will collaborate with local member firm teams to bring best in class insight into each client opportunity.
As CLM Manager the successful candidate will be collaborating with global and area stakeholders within EY. The successful candidate will consult with, and deliver to, internal stakeholders and external clients in equal measure to ensure that EY develops a global reputation for enterprise legal services, underpinned by market leading technology.
The successful candidate will also have a remit to help develop the way that contract services are harnessed by our clients in transactions, BAU CLM and complex multi-jurisdictional projects, where clients are focused on speed, accuracy, high quality reporting and analysis. This role will cover all partners within EY Law but with a particular focus on corporate law, commercial law and contracting, and data privacy amongst others. This role will give the successful candidate an enviable platform to develop their career and accelerate the performance of a law practice which stretches from Dublin to Dubai, Madrid to Moscow, and Lisbon to London.
Major areas of focus for the external client facing role include:
Develop and convert a personal pipeline and assist local member firms in building a pipelineCollaborate with local member firms to build and convert pipeline on local priority targets in salesPosition EY Law CLM capability at (1) external conferences and events, and (2) with the local EY Law teams as well as the broader EY community Help the CLM Leader in operating global strategy and delivery design – identifying improvement opportunities and developing responsive organization technology solutions and metrics. Working with local member firms on effectively structuring the implementation and delivery of CLM solutions for clients.Process and controls enhancement – design effective and controlled processes with enabling technologies and services to increase efficiency and reduce risk.Developing with the global team commercial legal technology applications– and assist clients in evaluating, selecting and implementing technologies that will bring faster and more efficient processing Collaborate with global delivery centre leadership to develop and harness existing CLM centers of excellence. Collaborate across teams and local member firms to build and develop local capability to create a scalable EMEIA wide market solution.
Major areas of focus for the internal role include:
Support local member firm Legal Managed Services leaders on execution of the CLM roadmap across EMEIACollaboration with Partners to develop and manage pipeline and high value opportunitiesIncrease awareness of EY’s CM capability internally across service lines. Assist the CLM Leader with CLM development and deployment of CLM technology solutions Alignment with regional CLM demands and developmentsReview of CLM technology solutions built/licensed on a regional level and recommendations for roll-out beyond regional applicationOngoing monitoring of new CLM technologies and opportunities to deploy innovative legal tech in the business
To qualify, candidates must have
Bachelor's degree and related work experience; or Master's degree/JD and work experience (preferred); Information Systems, Business, Analytics, Finance, Accounting or Legal Studies (undergraduate)/JD (graduate) fields of study preferredDemonstrated ability to identify and address client needs, develop client relationships and define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collectionThe ideal candidate will have experience in at least two of the following: large global law firms, corporate legal departments, and global professional services.Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
The ability to travel remains a requirement of this job - subject to ongoing travel restrictions imposed by authorities due to the pandemic.
