That’s the Power of Everyone. The OpportunityThis job provides the opportunity to fill a critical reporting and supervisory role within the Business Resources team for Industrial Power Systems.  This role leads a team of five employees and has responsibility for worldwide 3rd party sales and price reporting on both Caterpillar and Perkins brand industrial engines.   Within this role you will be able to gain significant exposure to price and revenue reporting, legal entity close and associated internal controls, as well as the monthly sales and operations planning process (S&OP).  As sales and margin supervisor, you will also be given the opportunity to deploy data analytic software (Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI) to drive process improvements as well as provide trusted financial insights to the global sales and marketing teams.     Job Responsibilities and Duties:Financial planning and analysis responsibilities for IPSD 3rd party sales and price realizationSales and margin process owner for legal entity DX (Perkins Engines Company Limited)Worldwide sales discounts, accruals, and releasesMonthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) – financialization and executive reviewSupport monthly executive reviews and report outsQuarterly legal and governmental sales reportingFinancial leadership (Forecast & Actuals) to Sales DirectorsDeal and Margin Analysis supportSkills and Experience:Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:Progressive experience demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roleProficient skills in MS Excel and PowerpointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong initiative and ability to work independentlyCandidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:Professional CertificationPrior supervisory experienceStrong initiative, accountability, and skillsThorough and detail oriented, while summarising results to drive broader context and business insightsComfort working and communicating with senior levels of managementExperience with the following software – Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, Axiom, QAD EECaterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
