Job summaryRecruiting Operations Senior Manager, AWS EMEAAs a Recruiting Operations Senior Manager in AWS EMEA, manage the operational backbone of our AWS TA EMEA recruiting process, business operations and scheduling engine. The successful candidate will drive the strategies and mechanisms that enable a frictionless recruiting process for our candidates, recruiting and business stakeholders. You will lead a centralised EMEA team of operations professionals and recruiting coordinators in multiple countries, partnering with a matrixed stakeholder-base of industry and country recruiting teams. This role is inherently cross-functional, you will work across the organization to roll out your plans and create a feedback loop into the product vision. You're a self-driven leader who can manage multiple complex work streams in parallel, you communicate clearly and with data, prioritize effectively, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You will report to the EMEA TA Director and alongside global TA counterparts to influence and deliver against global and local strategic goals, driving process efficiency alongside scale. In this role you will own:• Leading, building and developing a high-performing, efficient and agile team of operations professionals, including the EMEA Recruiting Coordinator (RC) function and Business Operations team. Setting the strategic direction and goals of your organisation, in line with global TA priorities. • Delivery of all scheduling services provided through the RC function, employee shared services partners and existing technology tools. This means influencing process efficiency improvement and technology tool adoption to enable productivity and hiring scale whilst ensuring a positive candidate experience.• Partnering with functional and industry TA teams as well as non-TA shared service providers to understand service demands and ensure the right processes and resources are aligned to meet growing volumes.• Enablement, learning and development of your organisation as well as drive wider TA team process enablement through training, onboarding and knowledge management.• Developing a culture of diving deep, using analytics and insights to drive strategies and get to the root cause of issues.• Initiating innovative and transformational solutions to optimise recruiting and scheduling processes - not just reacting to current needs but looking around corners to anticipate future risks and opportunities. Key job responsibilities• Playing an active role as part of the Talent Acquisition Operations leadership team in business reviews, promotion processes and creating programmatic frameworks to align to local practices, policies and nuance.• Optimize operational process flows and looking for ways to increase throughput in a customer obsessed manner to delight the candidate while delivering a consistent and scalable experience to all stakeholders.• Interact with the recruiting leadership team and business leaders across AWS to understand how to best position the Operations team to deliver on current and future needs of each stakeholder to help continue to scale the AWS organization.• Creation and delivery of productivity dashboards that will closely measure and monitor all critical KPI’s to insure the team is tracking in the right way to support the hiring demand from all stakeholders.• Own the strategic roadmap for the TA Operations team and will work globally to make sure we are aligned in how we support the global AWS businesses and recruiting teams.• Monitor and drive capacity planning to insure you are always staffed appropriately to avoid any drops in productivity or support.• Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.• Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.• Lead a team of PM experts, who participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.• Own and actively manage hiring and developing the best talent for this team along with keeping a high bar for the team consistent with Amazon leadership principles.• Participate in other recruiting/HR related initiatives to iterate on processes and provide the best recruiting support possible.Basic qualifications• Relevant and meaningful experience managing regional teams and high-volume processes that is applicable in the Talent Acquisition environment.• Customer-oriented with experience working multiple stakeholders across borders, building and maintaining strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, business partners and candidates.• Comfort/experience communicating and influencing across multiple stakeholders and able to write convincing narratives, using data and analysis to back-up recommendations.• Problem solving and analytical skills and ability diagnose and drive solutions in a complex and ambiguous environment.Preferred qualification • Experience in Recruiting/Human Resources.• Experience managing leaders & managers and not just individual contributors.• Project Management experience or equivalent process certificationsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
