Manage the staffing of client-facing account teams in the UKDeliver client objectives and drive business performanceAbout Our ClientA public relations company based in Central London.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Client Resource Manager include;Provide strategic oversight of the Resourcing function.Maintain ultimate responsibility for team staffing across the London office to ensure adequate staffing coverage for current clients and incoming new business opportunities.Put in place infrastructure to ensure teams are staffed with the right mix of people to support the business and ensure team members are given the opportunity to develop the skills required for long-term success at the business.Develop and report on KPI's to measure effectiveness of the function.Staff client teams in a timely and appropriate manner, working directly with Partners, Directors, and other client handlers to build alignment, considering the needs of the client in terms of seniority, skills, cost / revenue implications, and individual's personal development and other staffing needs.Lead or support office projects as required, e.g. working with Head of Finance to improve visibility on cost/revenue for client mandates.Work closely with the office management and Recruitment function to ensure recruitment decisions respond to staffing needs.Engage regularly with, and report to, leadership to provide transparency around staffing needs and implications for the business.Continuously improve internal staffing processes, including how data is used in decision making, and support global staffing initiatives as required.Liaise with People Team when employee well-being or performance issues are identified.Liaise with Client Review team to respond to client feedback on team structure.Maintain all capacity databases and tracking of active client relationships and internal staffing roster.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Client Resource Manager will have:Experience in Staffing and Professional Development experience.Former professional service firm professional who has moved out of consulting or banking with subsequent professional development experience an advantage, or an individual who has performed a similar role in another consultancy firm preferred.People management experience.Exceptional verbal and written communication.Professional, organised and diplomatic.
