Who we're looking for Schroders Enterprise Change is growing in its delivery of large scale, cross group change. A Programme Manager, capable of leading diverse and time bound projects, multiple teams with differing specialisms is needed to further support the portfolio of work. The programmes led by the successful individual will enable continuing growth of the Investment business, by enabling more flexible and efficient services, ensuring compliance to regulations, improved customer experience, better use of technology, better UX, realising target operating models and delivering leaner processes. We require an individual with an excellent track record of delivering large programmes across Technology and Business disciplines. It is expected that the individual will manage a team of directs and manage many more in a matrix environment.The Programme Manger will be accountable to the Head of Enterprise Change, but will also work significantly with business sponsors and potentially the Head of Business Transformation, and the Technology Senior Management Team.About Schroders We're a global investment manager. Business Transformation designs and delivers solutions to enterprise level challenges and consists of a number of specialist practices: Business Advisory, Business Design and Enterprise Change. This role is within the Enterprise Change Team. We are a friendly, supportive and collaboratve team comprising of Programme Managers, Change Managers, Change Analysts and Enterprise Programme Management Office specilaists who manage the delivery of Enterprise wide cross-domain change programmes and projects. What you'll do • Manage the delivery of complex portfolios of programmes and projects • Work with the senior stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent reporting and to ensure that the deliverables of projects remain clearly focused on business outcomes • Work with business stakeholders • Support the management of a project management team with matrix management requirements of the departments from which they will be provided • Hire appropriate additional staff to meet the objectives of the programmes as per an agreed recruitement plan • Manage communication of progress and changes to the wider organisation • Ensure financial diligence & reporting of the programme is adhered to working to secure delivery within budget. • Excellent risk management • Manage dependencies to/from adjacent programmes of work • Practice, develop and promote the use of Business Transformation standards for change. The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need • Proven delivery record of driving organisational and business change programmes with large (multimillion) budgets • Experience and knowledge of Asset Management. • Understanding of delivery in an Agile manner, and understanding of the Lean approach. • Clear leadership skills demonstrated through experience of transformational change • Experience of managing large teams • Ability to manage and motivate diverse sets of teams across multiple functions. Can develop a talent pool • Evidence of multiple senior stakeholder management • Strong collaborative skills and when appropriate influence across a broad, senior stakeholder base • Ability to deliver difficult messages where necessary and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders • Evidence of resolving challenging issues and contributing to end state solution • Methodical and detail orientated • Able to make trade-offs to ensure priority value items are delivered • Can drive to make decisionsThe knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help • Knowledge and experience of delivering change projects • Experience with the appropriate methods and tools (e.g. MS Office, workshops, process flows, Visio) to achieve requirements capture and definition • Basic professional qualifications relating to the asset management industry (such as IMC) What you'll be like • Inspiring and collaborative servant-leader • Friendly, approachable, enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds • Comfortable with ambiguity and change • Receptive to others' ideas and responds constructively to challengesWe're looking for the best, whoever they are Schroders is an equal opportunities employer.
